The rescue happened on Friday, April 26 just before 2 p.m., when a vehicle flipped on its side on Interstate 287 West in Harrison at milepost 6.5, according to the Purchase Fire Department.

Arriving first responders soon found that the driver was trapped inside the vehicle and began stabilizing it. Firefighters then partially removed the roof, allowing the driver to be freed.
